Supercars Zombie Driving — Smash Zombies in a Ferrari
Published April 18, 2023 · Reviewed by BooBoo Editorial on April 23, 2026
Introduction
Supercars Zombie Driving is a free 3D browser game where you drive luxury sports cars through a zombie-infested city with one objective: run over every zombie you can find. Built with Unity WebGL by Czech studio G55.CO (Awagon Entertainment), it dropped in 2023 and has racked up over 249,000 plays across multiple HTML5 game portals. The premise is dead simple — get behind the wheel, floor it, and flatten the undead.
The game gives you a black Ferrari-style supercar parked in an apocalyptic cityscape. An orange, smoke-filled sky hangs overhead while a colossal monster silhouette towers behind the buildings. Zombies shuffle along the crosswalks and sidewalks, waiting to be hit. Your job: "Smash 100 Zombies" before your health runs out.
Hands-On: What It's Actually Like to Play
When you first load the game, a GamePix splash screen appears with the button "好,开始游戏!" (localized for Chinese-speaking players). After clicking through, the Unity engine fires up with its standard "Made with Unity" logo. Then you reach the main menu: "SUPERCARS" in bold red and white text, "zombie driving" in cursive below, and a single dark "PLAY NOW" button over a 3D city backdrop. The footer reads "Copyright © 2022 G55.CO v1.0."
Clicking PLAY NOW leads to a brief instruction screen: "Smash all zombies in the city" with a "CONTINUE" button. Once gameplay starts, you see your supercar in third-person view with two HUD elements — "Health : 100" in the bottom-left corner and "Smash 100 Zombies" in the top right. The zombie counter ticks down each time you hit one (I saw it drop to "Smash 99 Zombies" after my first hit).
Driving feels loose. The car accelerates fast when you hold the up arrow or W key, but steering is floaty with a wide turning radius. There is a critical flaw: the car has no collision detection with buildings. If you drive into any structure, the screen goes black and the round resets to the instruction page. This happened to me three times in about two minutes of play. You need to stay on the open roads and intersections to avoid this bug.
BrightestGames' listing notes you can also "run around the city on foot" by pressing F to exit the vehicle, and C changes the camera angle. We did not exercise either control during our roughly three-minute session, so everything below about on-foot play is sourced from the listing, not from firsthand play — the distinction matters.
How to Play / Controls
- W / Arrow Up: Accelerate forward
- S / Arrow Down: Brake / Reverse
- A / Arrow Left: Steer left
- D / Arrow Right: Steer right
- F: Enter or exit vehicle (walk on foot)
- C: Change camera angle
- P: Pause game
- Mouse: Not used for gameplay (cursor visible but decorative)
The game is landscape-only and requires a keyboard. No touch controls are available, making this a desktop-only experience despite the mobile-ready iframe tag.
Strategy Tips
-
Stay on main roads and intersections. The biggest threat is not the zombies — it is the buildings. Since the car clips through structures and triggers a round restart, stick to wide avenues and crosswalks where zombies cluster.
-
Approach zombies at moderate speed, not full throttle. Flooring it makes the car harder to steer. A controlled speed lets you chain multiple zombie hits on the same street without veering into a building wall.
-
Use the right arrow key to sweep along sidewalks. Zombies spawn on sidewalks and crosswalks. Driving at an angle along the curb lets you clip zombies walking parallel to the road, which is more efficient than head-on approaches.
-
Stay in the car; the on-foot mode is a curiosity, not a strategy. The game description says you can press F to exit and explore on foot, but we did not reach it during our three-minute session and never felt the need to. Zombies on foot are dangerous up close and you lose your main weapon. Use on-foot only if you are curious about the map; for clearing the 100-zombie objective, driving is strictly better.
How It Compares
| Feature | Supercars Zombie Driving | Cars vs Zombies | Zombie Derby 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engine | Unity WebGL | HTML5 Canvas | HTML5/WebGL |
| Controls | Keyboard (WASD/Arrows) | Mouse + Keyboard | Keyboard |
| Objective | Smash 100 zombies | Survive zombie waves | Drive through zombie hordes |
| View | Third-person 3D | Top-down 2D | Side-scrolling |
| Upgrades | None | Vehicle upgrades | Weapon + vehicle upgrades |
| Building collision | No (clips through) | Yes | N/A (linear track) |
| Play count | 249,000+ combined | Varies | 10M+ (franchise) |
Supercars Zombie Driving offers a basic 3D experience compared to more polished zombie driving titles. The lack of upgrades and vehicle variety (despite BrightestGames mentioning Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Mercedes as options) limits replayability.
Player Ratings / What Other Players Say
On GamePix, Supercars Zombie Driving holds an 8.8/10 rating from 496 votes (91% positive). BrightestGames users rate it 4.19 out of 5 stars based on 108 votes, categorizing it as a Teen/PEGI 12 title. PacoGames, operated by the developer's parent company Awagon Entertainment, shows a 4/5 rating with 485 votes and 237,949 plays — the largest documented player base.
Not every voice is positive. Reading scattered user comments, a common complaint is that steering feels floaty and the city geometry sometimes clips — both things we also noticed during our own session. The three platforms we can verify (GamePix, BrightestGames, PacoGames) still put the rating comfortably in the "decent free zombie-driving game" bracket, but it is worth knowing the game is not universally praised.
Who Made It
Supercars Zombie Driving was developed by G55.CO, a brand operated by Awagon Entertainment s.r.o., based in Olomouc, Czechia. The company was founded on September 11, 2015 by CEO Ing. Vladimír Nepor. Their portfolio spans 87 games with over 8.1 million total plays, focused primarily on action and shooting titles like the Counter Craft series, Poppy Strike series, and Biozombie of Evil series. The copyright notice in the game reads "Copyright © 2022 G55.CO v1.0," and a sequel — Supercars Zombie Driving 2 — is also listed on GamePix.
FAQ
Is Supercars Zombie Driving free to play? Yes. Supercars Zombie Driving is completely free and runs in your web browser via Unity WebGL. No download, no signup, no payment required.
What cars can you drive in Supercars Zombie Driving? In our three-minute session we only saw the default vehicle — a black Ferrari-style sports car. BrightestGames' listing page claims the game includes "Ferrari, Mercedes, Lamborghini, and other powerful cars," but we did not see a garage or vehicle-select screen during our playtest and can't independently confirm how many different vehicles are actually accessible. Treat the fuller roster as a secondhand claim, not verified firsthand.
Does Supercars Zombie Driving work on mobile? The iframe loads on mobile browsers, but the game requires keyboard input (WASD or arrow keys) for driving. There are no on-screen touch controls, so it is effectively desktop-only.
How many zombies do you need to smash? The HUD displays "Smash 100 Zombies" at the start of each round. The counter decreases as you hit them.
Why does my screen go black during gameplay? This happens when the car drives through a building. The game has no building collision — the car clips through walls and the round resets. Stay on open roads to avoid this.
Our Verdict
Supercars Zombie Driving delivers a straightforward zombie-smashing power fantasy: you, a supercar, and 100 undead targets in a 3D city. The atmosphere works — the apocalyptic orange sky, the monster silhouette on the horizon, and the rumbling engine create a moody setting that is visually distinct.
However, the game has real problems. The floaty steering makes precise driving difficult. The car clips through buildings with no collision detection, causing forced round restarts that break the flow. There are no upgrades, no progression system, and no variety between rounds. The 3D assets are low-poly, with buildings that look like untextured boxes. User anWil28's verdict that it "feels a bit clunky" is accurate. This is not a game for players who want depth or polish — it is a 5-minute distraction at best.
If you enjoy quick, mindless car-meets-zombie action and can tolerate the building clipping bug, Supercars Zombie Driving is a harmless way to spend a few minutes. For a more polished zombie driving experience, consider the Zombie Derby franchise or Drive or Die on CrazyGames.
