What it is

Arrowzen is a landscape (800×600) browser puzzle in the tap-away family: a board crowded with arrows, each pointing somewhere, and your job is to tap them off in an order that never leaves one boxed in. Published on GamePix on July 14, 2026, it's a young title with no external ratings and no developer credit listed at review time — so this verdict is ours, from our own play sessions.

How it plays

The star here is the feel. In our hands-on session everything flowed: taps registered instantly, animations moved without a hitch, and the board state changed exactly when you expected it to. That smoothness matters in a genre where you'll tap hundreds of times a session — friction you'd forgive in a shooter becomes unbearable by level twenty.

The second smart move is adjustable difficulty: you decide how spicy the boards get, which makes it equally usable as a two-minute decompression or a proper brain-teaser session. Our playtester's only wish was a more generous supply of the game's water-drop resource — their words, in the notes below.

"Honestly? Genuinely impressed with this one. Everything just flows — the taps, the moves, the way the board reacts, all buttery smooth. And you can dial the difficulty yourself, which I liked. Only wish: more water drops, please! Already recommended it to my mates."

How we tested

Our automated rig opened the game in a real (headed) browser, cleared the consent banner, clicked "Ok, Play Now!" and drove a full session of trusted tap inputs, capturing five evidence frames — initial screen, menu, and three distinct in-game board states as the taps advanced the puzzle (see evidence/gamepix/arrowzen-tap-away-arrow-puzzle/). The playtester then played it hands-on for a few minutes. The game runs instantly in landscape with nothing to install.
