Among at Easter โ An Easter-Themed Among Us Clone in Your Browser
Published April 13, 2021 ยท Last updated April 1, 2025 ยท Reviewed by BooBoo Editorial on April 23, 2026
Introduction
Among at Easter is a free, browser-based impostor game that borrows heavily from Innersloth's Among Us. It drops the original's spaceship setting into an Easter-themed visual wrapper โ think colored crewmates with seasonal skins โ and runs entirely in your browser via Construct 2. The game was published on GamePix in April 2021, where it has accumulated 69,351 votes at an 8.8/10 rating. It also appears on smaller portals like Gameforge Little Games (4.12/5 from 464 reviews) and CPSGames (3.4/5 from 76 reviews, 32K plays).
To be clear upfront: this is not an official Innersloth product. The developer is listed as "liopito" on GamePix โ an anonymous handle with no verifiable studio or company behind it.
Hands-On: What It's Actually Like to Play
The following describes our editorial team's firsthand playtest on April 23, 2026.
After the GamePix splash screen, a loading bar climbs to "Loading 99%" and the game drops you into a menu screen. The menu is rendered on a black starfield background with loose, hand-drawn white lettering that reads "Among Us Online" โ notably different from the GamePix listing title "Among at Easter." Colorful cartoon crewmates in orange, lime, yellow, red, and purple drift around the menu area.
The menu presents an "Enter Your Name" text input and a "PLAY" button. After typing a name and clicking PLAY, you load into a top-down 2D spaceship lobby where other crewmates are already present. Your character carries a "Player" label above its head. A black-and-white "START" floor panel sits in the lobby โ walking onto it triggers a round.
The visual style is immediately recognizable to anyone who has played Among Us. The same rounded crewmate silhouettes, the same color palette, the same impostor-vs-crewmate social format. The key difference is that everything runs inside a GamePix iframe with zero login requirements.
What We Observed
During our session, canvas input focus inside the GamePix iframe was inconsistent. Click-to-move and keyboard movement via WASD did not always register reliably, and we could not consistently path our crewmate onto the START panel to trigger a full round. Arrow keys produced no visible character movement either. This input issue appears specific to the iframe embedding rather than a fundamental game bug.
The lobby already had 5+ crewmates on screen when we joined, suggesting either bot-populated lobbies or other concurrent players. No pre-roll ads appeared during loading.
Limitation to be upfront about: because our character could not reach the "START" floor panel due to the input-focus issue, this review does not include firsthand observations of the round itself โ kill cooldown timing, the task-completion UI, the emergency meeting flow, or voting screens. Players reading this should treat the strategy advice below as inferred from the Among Us genre and the observable lobby state, not as validated in-round tactics specific to this clone. If the round mechanics deviate materially from the original Innersloth title, we cannot confirm that from our test.
How to Play / Controls
| Action | Input |
|---|---|
| Move | Click on game canvas (point-and-click) or WASD keys |
| Interact / Start round | Walk onto the "START" floor panel |
| Kill (as impostor) | On-screen button with cooldown |
| Sabotage | On-screen button |
| Use vent | On-screen button near vent locations |
| Menu navigation | Mouse click on "PLAY" button |
The game is designed for mouse and keyboard on desktop. On mobile, single-tap replaces click-to-move. The intended control scheme is point-and-click movement, though during our test the keyboard and mouse inputs were unreliable inside the iframe wrapper.
Strategy Tips
Disclaimer: we could not reach a round during our playtest (see Hands-On section), so the following four tips are drawn from well-established Among Us genre knowledge, not verified inside this specific clone. If Among at Easter alters kill-cooldown values, task types, vent layout, or meeting mechanics from the Innersloth original, these tips may not apply cleanly.
1. Use vents only when no other crewmate has line of sight. The vent mechanic lets impostors move between rooms instantly, but another player seeing you enter or exit a vent is an immediate tell. Check the screen edges for other character sprites before venting.
2. Sabotage to split the group before going for a kill. Triggering a sabotage forces crewmates to scatter toward the repair location. This creates isolated targets. Time your kill immediately after a sabotage โ the confusion window is short.
3. As a crewmate, stick in pairs but watch your partner's behavior. Solo crewmates are easy targets. Moving in pairs reduces your risk, but if your partner skips tasks or lingers near vents, they may be the impostor. Track who completes tasks and who just walks around.
4. Pay attention to the task progress bar at the top of the screen. If the bar fills to 100% before the impostor eliminates enough crewmates, the crewmates win. As impostor, sabotage frequently to slow task completion. As crewmate, prioritize finishing tasks over investigating.
How It Compares
Among at Easter sits in a crowded field of Among Us browser clones. Here is how it stacks up against the original and similar HTML5 titles:
| Game | Platform | Rating | Key Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Among at Easter (this game) | GamePix, Gameforge, CPSGames | 8.8/10 (GamePix) | Easter skins, Construct 2, anonymous dev |
| Among Us (Innersloth) | Steam, iOS, Android | Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam | The original โ cross-platform multiplayer, active updates, verified studio |
| Among Us Online V2 (TechMan) | BrightestGames | 4.10/5 (399 votes) | Customizable settings (kill distance, speed), offline multiplayer |
| Among You | CrazyGames | Available | Fan-made detective variant, different gameplay loop |
The most important distinction: the original Among Us by Innersloth runs on dedicated servers with anti-cheat, regular content updates, and a massive active player base. Among at Easter is a lightweight browser clone โ fun for a quick session, but lacking the depth, polish, and community of the official game.
What Players Are Saying
Community coverage for Among at Easter is thin. The game has no Reddit threads, no YouTube gameplay videos, and no editorial reviews as of April 2026. The available data comes from portal ratings:
- GamePix: 8.8/10 from 69,351 votes โ 61,411 positive, 7,940 negative (source)
- Gameforge Little Games: 4.12/5 from 464 reviews (source)
- CPSGames: 3.4/5 from 76 reviews, 32,073 plays (source)
- 6games.eu: 4.2/5 from 12 votes, ~4,000 plays (source)
The GamePix vote count (69K) is dramatically higher than all other platforms combined (552 reviews total). This disparity likely reflects GamePix counting automated engagement events (clicks, plays) rather than deliberate reviews. The CPSGames rating of 3.4/5 (~6.8/10 equivalent) is notably lower than GamePix's 8.8/10.

Our Verdict
Among at Easter delivers the core Among Us loop โ impostor vs. crewmates, sabotage, emergency meetings, voting โ in a zero-friction browser package. For a quick, casual session when you cannot install the real thing, it fills the gap. The Easter skin theme adds minimal visual novelty.
However, the game has real limitations. Input handling inside the iframe was unreliable during our test โ click-to-move and keyboard controls did not consistently register, which prevented us from reaching an actual round and validating core mechanics (kill cooldowns, task flow, meetings) firsthand. Visual polish is noticeably below the original Among Us: crewmate sprites are rougher, the lobby background is a sparse starfield, and the hand-drawn fonts look amateur. The anonymous developer ("liopito") and title mismatch between the listing ("Among at Easter") and the in-game menu ("Among Us Online") raise legitimacy questions. We also cannot comment on concurrency โ our 5-minute window happened to contain 5+ other crewmates in the lobby, so whether the game is well-populated at off-peak times is outside our observation.
Best for: Quick browser sessions, fans of Among Us who want instant play without downloading. Not for: Players expecting original Among Us quality, anyone concerned about playing unofficial clones, or those who need reliable input controls.
