Hands-On: What It's Actually Like to Play

The game loads straight to a clean level-select menu — no splash-screen maze. A LEVELS grid shows 20 stages per page across 5 pages, and below it a COLLECTION carousel previews the meme art you're working toward, each card locked at 0/16 pieces.

Tap a source tube, tap a target tube, and the pour plays out: the tube physically lifts off its slot, tilts over the target, and a stream of liquid flows across — roughly a second of animation that stays satisfying instead of getting in the way. A moves counter ticks up top; an undo button lights up after your first pour and costs nothing to use.

One thing our playtest surfaced: input is locked while a pour animates. If you queue taps faster than the animation resolves, the game simply drops them — two of four rapid-fire moves we scripted got swallowed. What We Didn't Get To

We cleared Level 1 and played into Level 2 — that's 2 of 100 levels. We didn't reach a completed 16/16 art card, so we can't tell you what a finished collection looks like, and we can't confirm how spicy the difficulty gets by the back half. We also played muted, so the audio design goes unjudged. Nothing we saw suggests the later levels change the core loop.

What Surprised Us

The production polish. Feed-catalog water-sorts are usually asset-flip territory, but this one has a coherent glassmorphism UI, floating particle effects, smooth easing on every animation, and a genuinely pleasant liquid-stream effect on pours. Someone cared. The other surprise was less pleasant: a full-screen interstitial ad fired between Level 1 and Level 2 (17-second countdown with a skip button). That's the price of free — we'd rather tell you now than let it ambush you.

Strategy Tips (From Our Playthrough)

1. Open with the doubles. Level 1's optimal 5-move clear starts by dumping the stacked pair (two blues) into the empty tube — consolidating identical segments early creates the room every later pour needs.
2. Count before you pour. A pour moves the whole connected run of one color. If the target can't hold the full run, don't start it — that's how you strand colors.
3. Respect the mystery tubes. From Level 2, "?" segments only reveal when they surface. Pour off the known colors above them first; guessing into a hidden segment with no undo appetite is how a solvable board turns into a reset.
4. Undo is free — use it. The game doesn't punish experimentation. Test a line, unwind it, try again.
5. Save the ad-bottle for real walls. The Watch-Ad extra bottle is a legitimate out on tighter boards, but early levels never need it. Don't train the habit.
