3. Ignore the Skin Market until you reach 100,000+ snails naturally. The cheapest skin (Golden Snail) costs 100,000 snails and only gives a 5% click multiplier. Spending 100,000 snails on upgrades first will boost your income rate far more than a 5% multiplier. Save cosmetic purchases for after you have maxed out available click and auto upgrades.
